EPYSA Risk management

All CYSC Board members and U8 and older coaches need to complete the online risk management form on the EPYSA website. Click here to get to the risk management area at EPYSA. You will not be able to coach if you haven't completed this online form. If you have any problems, contact your registrar, Craig Eiding at registrar@cysc.org.

Coaching Application

If you are interested in coaching a Cocalico Youth Soccer Club team, please fill out our Coach Application and return it to CYSC Registrar, (address)

CYSC Coaches Code of Conduct

Cocalico Youth Soccer Club has adopted the following coaches code of conduct. All coaches must adhere to this document.

ATTENTION ALL COACHES:

Field Maintenance Reminder: Please keep in mind while we are on the soccer fields, parking lot and area, that we are guests on the Cocalico School Districts grounds. With this in mind, please make sure that you pick up any trash that you have, or any that you see. There are trash cans at the snack stand. Do not park on the grass at anytime. Do not park in the "no parking" area, as the police will ticket you, it is also unsafe to park in these areas.

Painting the lines: The school will be assisting the club in painting lines of the fields. The school will maintain fields #1, #2 and #3; the club is responsible for making sure all other fields are lined properly prior to game time. It is each team's responsibility to check the lines during the week at practice. If they need to be lined, do it. Get a parent to help. Most fields can be done in less then an hour now that they have been marked. If we keep up with marking the fields, it will become easier for the referees to see and able to call the game better.

Cancellation to due weather: For the select teams (not including U8 teams), the league is responsible for cancelling any games due to weather. For the recreational teams (including U8 teams), the club will make the final decision based on weather. The guidelines used for any cancellation is based on the field conditions and safety of all players, referees and parents. If we will be cancelling games, an email will be sent to each coach notifying them of the cancellation. It will be the coach's responsibility to inform the players and the opposing team. If games are not cancelled and you are at the fields and the weather turns to unsafe play (lightning), please make the right decision to delay or reschedule the game.

Re-scheduling Games: The select teams (not including U8 teams)will be re-scheduled by the league. The recreational teams (not including U8 teams) will be re-scheduled by the coaches. All recreational teams must contact  Glenn Mohler at mohler@dejazzd.com,     717-917-4529 to re-schedule the referee. Once this is done, please get with me to get a field assigned. For all teams: If you need to reschedule a game due to weather or any other conflict, you must contact me to get a field assigned. Also, please remember to contact Kari Angstadt at kariangstadt@hotmail.com, 717-951-7206 when your game is cancelled so she can make appropriate changes to the snack stand coverage.

The most important part is that we insure the safety of all the kids on the fields!
