In this ever-changing world we live in, we are attempting to make plans to have some level of Fall soccer according to CDC, state government, and EPYSA (state soccer association) guidelines. See link here for EPYSA “Return to Play” protocols – https://www.epysa.org/return-to-play-protocols-/
As a result of the uncertainty, we are trying to come up with a plan that would allow for informal soccer when we go “green” as well as the ability to pivot to more formal league play when/if that is available to us through RBJSL/LARS (the select and rec leagues we play in).
Our plan is to have informal practices and potentially scrimmages that would include both rec and select players all together starting shortly after we are considered “green”. That format will continue until the plan for league play with RBJSL/LARS is more clear. Once we have the green light to organize teams for RBJSL/LARS, we will put together rec and select teams and enter them in RBJSL and/or LARS. The informal portion will be free. We will not collect registrations or money until we are sure there will be league/formal play.
