WhERE CAN YOU HELP?

HEAD COACH

We are looking for an enthusiastic and responsible youth sports coach to provide a fun and safe sporting experiencing for our youths. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing basic sports strategies, scheduling team practices and games, and ensuring all team members get equal playing time.

ASSISTANT COACH

We are looking for a passionate and competent assistant coach to support the head coach in all areas of team management and assist with administrative tasks. The assistant coach’s responsibilities include overseeing all team activities, Supervising games and training sessions, assisting with recruitment, maintaining records and making travel arrangements.

Season Field Lining team

We are looking for energetic and detail oriented people to assist in making sure the fields are lined for our kids practices and games. Think it’s a complicated process? Festival Volunteer

We are looking for a hand full of people to assist with the LARS festival.  Details on areas for volunteer involvement with the festival are sent out closer to the festival date. A list of the areas where you might be asked to help might be festival set up and tear down, line fields, field marshal, assist with parking monitoring, working in the concession stand and etc. To see more information, check out the festival volunteer page (click here).

ADMINISTRATIVE POSITIONS:

Field Maintenance Coordinator

Schedules field lining before the start/end of spring and fall seasons, maintains field equipment such as goals and nets, verifies condition of fields due to rain for league games. Create practice schedule and field assignment for all teams. Assist in game schedule and field assignment for U8/U6 program. Assign fields for make-up games at home. Insure fields are lined during the current season. Work with school officials for any special field changes, requests or needs.

U6 Coordinator

Contact all players at the start of the season. Schedule a weekly practice/game. Recruit coaches/parent volunteers and assist in providing training and education of soccer. Work with the Field Maintenance Coordinator for field assignment. Responsible for set up and break down of equipment at the beginning and end of practice.
